Tailored for young enthusiasts, our Junior Judo program (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) provides a dynamic setting where kids can delve into the essentials of Judo. Led by our skilled instructors, children will learn fundamental techniques, cultivate discipline, and build confidence in a supportive and energetic atmosphere.

How it Works

🌟 We provide a FREE 4-Week trial period — The perfect starting point for new members to learn the basics, build confidence, and settle in comfortably before progressing into regular training

A Simple 3-Step Process:​

1️⃣ Book your FREE four week trial period (book below - places are limited) 
2️⃣ Attend your first session (buy a judo uniform from us if you wish OR just borrow one of ours for the duration of the trial) 
3️⃣ Complete the trial period and if you decide Judo is right you automatically move onto a KJA Monthly Membership (payment details are taken when booking trial) see important information regarding BJA Membership and gradings at the bottom of the page.

What's included in my Monthly Membership?

  • 💪 Three Action-Packed Sessions Each Week (Monday, Thursday & Saturday) — Structured, high-energy training that builds strength, discipline, confidence, and resilience in a positive, supportive environment. Train when it suits - once, twice or even three times a week

  • 🥋 Three Gradings Per Year included — Clear progression goals that keep juniors motivated while developing perseverance, focus, and a strong sense of achievement. Grades are awarded by the coaching team when students are ready (valid British Judo Association Membership needs to be in force)

  • 🔥 Opportunities to Compete — Access to friendly local inter-club competitions and area organised BJA competitions (if desired, not compulsory, external fees are charged), offering a safe and encouraging introduction to competition that builds courage and self-belief. 

  • 🤝 Mat Mates – Monthly Youth Club — An inclusive, coach-led hangout combining board games, creative activities and team sports to build friendships beyond the mats

             (Plus once a month youth               club 11:45am-12:45pm)

IMPORTANT:

To ensure your child /yourself is fully insured and officially recognised within the sport, all students must hold a current membership with the British Judo Association (BJA).

This annual membership is purchased directly through the BJA website and covers insurance, grading registration, and competition eligibility. This fee is paid separately to the BJA and is not included in your monthly membership. The BJA Membership should be purchased after the Free Trial Period / Beginners Course if you/your child are continuing with your Judo and wish to receive your new grade or be in force when you start partaking in Judo if no beginners course undertaken.
